About me:
I'm Pastor Kilpatrick. I grew up in church with Godly hymns, old-fashioned helpful preaching, and exciting real Christian services. Gospel Light Baptist Church will have these things plus what you are missing. If you are tired of formalism, tradition and empty worship and want something real, relevant, and helpful for you and your family, then visit us on Sunday's and be a part of exciting services. About my family:

We are the Kilpatrick's. Debbie and I have been in the ministry for over 25 years. I have served as a Missionary, Pastor, College President, Youth Director, Associate Pastor, Christian School Educator, and Music Director. In the summer of 2002 God moved us to Pelham, Alabama to start and pastor the Gospel Light Baptist Church. This has been one of the greatest blessings and most exciting times of our ministry. God is doing great things here and we look forward to serving Him until the Lord returns.

The purpose for this church shall be for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ; for the salvation of the lost through daily Soul Winning, World Wide Missions and the teaching and preaching of the Word of God; to administer the ordinances; and to provide a place of worship, fellowship, and service for all believers.
