Pastor Steve Kilpatrick
Pastor Kilpatrick has served as a Pastor, College President, Youth Director, Associate Pastor, Christian School Educator, and Music Director. He and his wife Debbie were also missionaries in the Philippines, and have served in the ministry for over 30 years.
In the summer of 2002 God called them to Pelham, Alabama to start and pastor Gospel Light Baptist Church which is now located in Helena. Having grown up in church with Godly hymns, relevent helpful preaching, and exciting real Christian services, Gospel Light was destined to be no different.
Associate Pastor Gary Bohman
Gary Bohman has been an Associate Pastor since 2004, and has served under Pastor Kilpatrick as Associate Pastor at Gospel Light since 2009. He has also served as Assistant Principal and taught junior high and high school at Larue Baptist School.
Bro. Bohman graduated from the Crown College of the Bible in 2004 with a Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree and has a great burden for the work of reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through personal soul winning. He has started bus ministries, conducted vacation Bible schools, served as congregational song leader, trained soul winners, and led youth ministries, all with the prevailing passion for souls.
