The Purpose of GLBC

The King James Version of the Bible is used in all our ministries. We have strong biblical preaching, led by Pastor Kilpatrick, godly hymns and relevant Bible teaching for all ages. These are some of the tools we use for:

• the perfecting of the saints
• the work of the ministry
• the building up of the body of Christ
• the salvation of the lost through daily Soul Winning, World Wide Missions, and the teaching and preaching of the Word of God
• the administering of the ordinances
• providing a place of worship, fellowship, and service for all believers.

If you are tired of formalism, tradition and empty worship and are looking for something real, relevant, and helpful for you and your family, then visit us this Sunday and be a part of this exciting, biblical, local New Testament Church. God is doing great things here and we look forward to serving Him until the Lord returns. 

Bible Study

We offer many different Bible Study classes for married adults, single adults, students and children. Bible study offers members & guests a place to meet in small groups which allows us to meet new people, get to know each other better, and grow deeper in our faith. Bible Study classes meet at 10am on Sunday mornings.

Childcare

Gospel Light Baptist Church offers childcare in a secure environment. Every room is equipped with capable childcare workers to ensure your child’s safety.

New Location

Gospel Light Baptist Church is located 5781 Roy Drive in Helena, Alabama. We are right off of Highway 58, in between Highway 95 and Highway 17. We have convenient visitors parking and volunteers at each door to help you find your way around our facility. We welcome you to come and enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere of a church with a heart for the family!
